AICAR phosphate (Acadesine phosphate, AICA Riboside phosphate), dead from AICAR phosphate or acadesine phosphate. AICAR is a cell membrane-permeable AMPK activator that stimulates AMPK and AMPKK by mimicking AMP, but does not affect the levels of ATP, ADP, and AMP. AICAR regulates the sugar action of non-insulin kinases by activating AMPK, and can also block autophagy and activation.
